Our streamlined conversion process takes just seconds. Select your desired tool (such as PDF to Word or JPG to PNG), upload your file through our secure portal, and watch as our specialized algorithms preserve your document's original formatting. Your converted file is immediately ready for download once processing completes. Our tools work with 17 file formats, including business standards like PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and popular image formats such as JPG, PNG, and WebP.

Definitely! FlexFiles works great on phones, tablets, and desktops — no app to download, just visit the site and you're good to go.

Files travel to and from our servers over encrypted HTTPS connections, and conversions are processed on our servers. If you're signed in, your plan sets how long converted files are kept (see Pricing), and you can delete them from My Files at any time. Files you store in a workspace or receive through guest upload links stay until you delete them or a plan or folder retention rule removes them. When you index documents for the AI Document Assistant, we store their extracted text so it can answer questions, and parts of that text are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to process them and generate answers.

Our conversion pipeline combines proven document engines with specialized processing that keeps intricate document elements intact. It is built to preserve tables, multi-level lists, embedded graphics, headers/footers, and typographic details, and offers specialized options for professional document requirements. Results depend on the source file, and regular updates keep the converters current with newer format versions.

Conversion tools accept files of up to 5 GB each on every plan, including Free and signed-out use. Plans differ in how many conversions you can run per day and in the PDF editor's file-size and page limits. The Pricing page lists each plan's current numbers, and our team can arrange custom limits for very large or batch workloads.
