FlexFiles plans and usage controls affect file size limits, AI allowances, and workspace-level capabilities, so teams should align plan choice with operational volume.

What changes by plan

  • Daily conversion limits, and the PDF editor's file-size and page limits. Conversion uploads have the same per-file limit on every plan.
  • AI Document Assistant weekly questions, high-accuracy questions and indexed pages, and whether the AI Action Assistant is included (Pro and Business).
  • Share links, guest upload links, workflows and signature requests (Starter, Pro and Business), and team workspaces with members and roles (Business).
  • Commercial or organizational controls required by larger teams.

How to evaluate the right plan

Start with workload shape: file sizes, document volume, AI intensity, number of collaborators, and whether guest intake or hiring flows are central to your process.

Questions to ask before changing plans

  • Are file size limits blocking real workflows or only edge cases?
  • Is AI usage becoming a repeated operating need or still an occasional convenience?
  • Do external intake, workflows, or hiring now require a broader product rollout?
  • Will more collaborators actually use the workspace regularly?

Common commercial misreads

  • Choosing based on one feature name instead of overall workflow fit.
  • Ignoring usage growth when an AI or intake process becomes team-standard.
  • Moving to a team workspace when external people only need upload links or shared chats.

The Pricing page reads each plan's limits from the same records the service enforces, so it is the place to check current numbers: daily conversions, the PDF editor's file-size and page limits, AI Document Assistant weekly questions and indexed pages, signature requests, and whether workflows, guest upload links and team workspaces are included.

Paid plans are billed monthly through a billing portal where you can change or cancel the subscription; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. In a team workspace only the owner can change the plan, and the members' usage counts against the owner's plan.
